I've spent 8+ years in executive support and organizational leadership roles in non-profit, for-profit and ministry contexts. However, I spent much of that time being underpaid, undervalued and living in a reactive state to the demands of employers with my own needs unmet.

 

What drew you to say yes to completing purpose finders? Where were you in your professional journey?

 

When Sheri invited me to participate in this pilot program, it was an answered prayer! I was looking for a push from a person of faith who could also offer practical professional help as I transitioned from employment to entrepreneurship. I needed someone who could help me identify patterns in my life to ultimately break free of them and establish new healthy ones! Sheri did all of that and more—she helped me to rediscover and re-engage my true identity so that I could live from that place rather than just people's demands. Her counseling credentials served this purpose beautifully, and her current journey transitioning into entrepreneurship did as well. I keep hearing her voice in my head that echoes the Father's heart: "You are expensive." 

 

What was the biggest takeaway from the process? Your "aha" moment?

 

My biggest aha moment was that the desire God has placed in me for excellence is indeed from Him and it is a blessing (rather than a burden as previous employers had identified). Learning to see clearly and re-frame what you carry is such a key for establishing new healthy patterns.

 

What would you say to anyone on the fence about participating?

 

You MUST join this program! You'll walk away with both clarity about your God-given purpose AND a practical plan to launch into it. If you're feeling stuck between where you are and where you know you're meant to be, this program will bridge that gap.
